The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center was named the most beautifully designed museum in the State of New Jersey by Architectural Digest. The Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center honors the legacy of an American icon and applies the life lessons of Yogi Berra, the New York Yankees, and baseball to teach and promote sportsmanship, social justice, and the pursuit of excellence. ikon.5 architects renovated the existing facility and created a new addition that serves as a flexible gallery space, used for exhibition display, receptions, book signings, and pre-function events. The reimagined facility transforms the overall appearance of the learning center by using glass to transparently communicate and initiate the visitor’s experience to the mission of the museum. Adjacent to a minor league baseball park, the museum is a jewel box displaying the virtues of America’s favorite pastime.

The mission of the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center, founded in 1998, is to sustain and promote the values of respect, perseverance, and excellence through inclusive, culturally diverse sports-based educational exhibits and programs.

Architectural Digest identified the most beautiful museum in each state and included buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright, Zaha Hadid, Renzo Piano, and Herzog & de Meuron, in addition to ikon.5 architects.
