Aligned with the main entrance to Montclair State University campus the new theater welcomes all to a place of culture and learning. The siting of the Theater completes an existing green quadrangle, while accentuating the relationship with a historical amphitheatre and the plaza. The two tiered "Black Box" is designed to accentuate the participation between the audience and the performers by distributing 350 seats on the Main floor and 150 seats on the balcony. The main stage, with a fly space, is flanked by two side stages that provide flexibility for various sets and props.
